In addition, he has produced numerous exhibitions in France and abroad (Paris, Galway, Toronto, New Delhi, Cape Town, etc.). Denis Félix has received artistic commissions from major

foundations (Hermès, Electricité de France, Alstom, etc.) and his works are kept in heritage collections (National Library of France) and in private collections.

THE COLLECTION

Origins and ... / ...

Born during an interior stroll, this collection of cyanotypes of cosmic inspiration, proposes structures and forms which travel in the heart of the silver grain.

These "cosmotypes" are creations resulting from large format camera shots on silver film and emulsified dry plates.

.../... Reborn

Poetic fragments of the ruins of the Charterhouse of Neuville sous Montreuil, recomposed by the artist.

These photographs all in perspective for the rebirth of a magical and inspiring place.

Between alteration and revelation, these two sister collections speak to us of transformation and question us about impermanence.

Prints limited to 7 copies

To be discovered in the gallery from May 13 to June 12, 2023

BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1960, Denis Félix has been interested in man and nature for more than thirty years by exploring interior worlds thanks to the large format photographic chamber.

Denis Félix narrates, with the bedroom, what can only be told in silence: the journey of a lifetime. Whether in Europe, Africa, Asia or America, he always adopts the same, singular approach: the choice of absolute immersion with the subject photographed, whether human, animal, mineral or plant.
