Béatrice Duroure has a degree in art history from the Institut des carrières artistiques (ICART). Béatrice then trained in graphic design at the École Estienne.
In his recent paintings, the artist has chosen the theme of Parisian cafés as his inspiration.
Her works, which could be likened to photographs for the "instantaneous" aspect, offer us scenes with a singular framing, peaceful and intimate universes, inhabited by a small melancholic melody, where a soft feeling of strangeness reigns.
As in the adventures of Alice in Wonderland, her favorite heroine of children's literature.
The artist takes us into a light reverie, to the meeting of enigmatic atmospheres, to take us sometimes on the other side of the mirror.
Oil and acrylic on canvas.
